Maggie scanned the stable for Celes' horse. When she found it and ran over and scampered up onto his or her (Maggie could never be sure) back. She turned impatiently back to Jacob. Like I had said before Maggie hd never ridden a horse (not including the last catastrophe you read of)... "Go horesy!" ...So Maggie wasn't very surprized when this didn't work. She wondered if Jacob knew how to ride a horse. She knew that he probably would. Then she wondered how well. Maybe he could teach her! That would certainly keep her awake, and she could learn to ride! Inspiration oozed out of horseback riding. "Will you teach me Jacob?"

“Of course.” Had they really never taught her how to ride a horse before? Seems odd that lesson would pass them, or her. However the childish remark of ‘go horsey’ was a sure sign that the girl was a beginner and the fact that she was planning on riding it bare back. Heaving a small exhausted sigh he gave his odd amused smirk at her and cocked a eyebrow,[/b] “Saddle?”[/b] He said before walking over to the stall that held Celes’ horse.
Jacob helped Margret down from the horse and quickly with an experienced hand put the saddle and helped her back up. It was certainly obvious that he may be the person that knew about and loved riding more than the rest of the family. He had been riding ever since he was old enough to, and if there was ever a time that he truly smiled without all the awkwardness was when he was on a horse at a pure run in some open field in the country.
“Hold tightly onto the horn and keep balance.” He indicated what the horn on the saddle was and slowly walked Celes’ horse out of it stall. Tying the reins to the post beside Jacobs black mare he also quickly got his horse ready and in a few moments he had both reins in hand and was walking them out the stable and making sure Margret was staying on. Glancing back he gave a very curt nod to the other woman of farewell before exiting into the chill night of Paris. “Ready?[/color]
