Personality: Meg's belief is that she should try to make the world more beautiful, and she does this by dancing. She has a very humble attitude and thinks of dance as a way to bring beauty, and not a way to show off. She can't stand the dancers that enjoy showing off and bragging, but she would never say anything to them about it. She is against any kind of violence. When any kind of fighting breaks out that is beyond her control she tries her best to forget about it. Because she fears starting a fight, she never takes up for herself when neccessary. She has a tendency to let people walk all over her.
History: Meg has been dancing at the opera house since she was fourteen. Her love for dance was instilled in her from birth by her mother, Madame Giry. Her father passed away from scarlet fever when Meg was seven. She is extremely close to her mother and is very thankful she still has her.Meg finds herself missing her father very often, even though his death happened years ago. She enjoys alone time when she feels this way.
Madame Giry began teaching Meg ballet when she was three. At the young age of fourteen her mother put her in the corpe de ballet for Meg's first opera. While many other dancers envy her success and state the situation as political because the ballet instructor is her mother, there is no denying her talent.
