History: Angel Marcellinus’s regal looks don’t just come from anywhere; his family has a long line of noble men. So of coarse when he was younger he grew up with the finer things in life, like living in a large mansion. There was one thing wrong with his blood line though; his mother was not his father’s wife, but a maid. Oddly though his father’s wife at the time was pregnant the same time his mother was.
Nine months later though Angel and if half brother were born only about an hour apart. However though he was born healthy, the other child was born dead. Since only his father, his father’s wife, and the doctors knew about the dead child, and when his father learned Angel and lived they switched the baby’s. Basically he was dead and now living the life of his brother.
As a youngster Angel had everything he could possible want expect he was always kept a close eye on by his father, hate filled glares from his “mother”, and saddened looks from some maid that he was forbidden to speak to. After a while though; around the age of five, he started to look like his real mother. Rumors started floating around and for some unknown reason to him Angel was locked up in his room. After a week a being locked up he asked the old maid that was always faithful to his father why he was kept in his room. The woman replied that one of the other maids had been poisoned and his father didn’t want harm to come to him. Indeed the maid was his real mother that was in fact poisoned by someone ordered by his father.
Angel was becoming restless though and found out ways to escape his comfy cell. At night while everyone was asleep he would make his way toward the library in search of the new curiosity swirling inside him. That’s when his fascination with poison began. Every night for a year he’d return to the library and read up as much as he could and even sneaking some back to his room to read during the lonely days. That’s also when he started preferring quite places.
During this year though his “mother” was slowly going crazy and was sent to a correctional facility where she evenually died of cuconsumption. He would speak very little after going through shock at his young age only to his sister. After a while though he slowly became his self again and continued his research on poisons. Angel knew so much about poison that he is known as the “Earl of Poison”.

Role Play Sample: The New Years Masquerade was by far the most anticipated annual event of the year at the Populaire. Choreographing, costume fittings, and rehearsals started right after the Halloween Masquerade. The chorus had to brush up on the song and dance, while the dancers had to learn a whole new waltz to be performed at some later time in the night. Everything had to be perfect, and so far everything had been. The Masquerade song went without a hitch and it still dazzled people after all these years.
In fact Miyu was surprised that it still even dazzled her in her current mood and having seen it nearly everyday in rehearsal. The blonde woman had been bustling around making sure that the dancers and their apparel were in order, all while with a small brunette girl clinging to the skirts of her dress. It made her wonder how Madame Giry, who was enjoying the evening with her daughter, ever did this for years. It was quit exhausting and by the time the dancers were sent out to mingle before they performed she was leaning against a pillar on the upper level with Milly hugging her waist.
The poor little girl had been attached to her mother’s hip ever since she learned about who her real father was. Of coarse it had been a shock to the girl so even though it was troublesome sometimes Miyu let her cling if it comforted her any.
They stayed like that for a few moments before petting her daughters head and asked if she was ready to go down. Milly had given a little nodded and took her mothers hand as she led her down into the hypnotizing swirl of colors. The little girl’s mood only lightened some when her foot hit the marble of the ballroom. It reminded her of the balls in fairytales with all the shimmering decorations, beautiful gowns and dancing.
Milly was quit alright with distracting her mind by looking at all the pretty dresses the women were wearing. Since she was only a child hers was a simple white one with tiny pearls around the waist and on the sleeves, she didn’t wear the mask because she agreed with her mother that she’d take it off and lose it. Miyu’s dress however was exquisite. It wasn’t colorful, but sliver and gray with complex designs, her mask was the same way. Both dresses and masks had been Christmas and New Years gift from Miyu’s twin brother Tomislaw, so of coarse they we’re made out of the best material and by the best seamstress in Holland.
Miyu really hadn’t felt like dressing in the finery but she didn’t have anything else, and she was far above ‘borrowing’ from the costume closet. The only thing that showed that she didn’t try that hard though was her hair. It was down with only the front pulled back in a pin that matched the flowers on her dress. Milly’s was the same way. It did look a bit out of sorts since most of the women had there pinned on top of their head in some shape or fashion. But since the rest of her, expect for the child holding her hand, looked like she belonged here the other guest didn’t give her more then just a glance when she walked by.
She and Milly had been gliding in the places that where less crowded looking to see if they could recognize anyone. Of coarse they couldn’t with everyone having masks and not having the determination to see if someone that did look familiar, was. After walked around the room once they settled down on a bench beside the stairs. Both perfectly content with just watching.
