Personality: Proud, loves to be the center of attention, business-minded, shrewd; fiercely protective of that which he loves--most of which he sees almost as property.
History: The eldest of three siblings, Andrew was born into a middle-class French family, there is a considerable age-gap between himself and his two siblings, as his mother was married (and widowed shortly after Andrew was born) to another man before marrying Andrew's step father, Louie. He worked his way through university, later starting a quickly-successful weapons-business in Paris. He has fought his way through the ranks of high society, becoming the largest arms-supplier for the French government--despite a small scandal shortly after he had started his business...
After having a minor affair with a singer, Charlotte DePaul he soon found that he was to be a father. He has managed to mostly conceal the existence of his daughter through sending her to various boarding schools and to his half-sister's, she is a constant stressor in his live, although he is gradually learning how to love her and still manage to balance his hectic schedule.
Tiring of the stressful grind of his business and not wanting Margret to grow up around such an environment, he relinquished the presidency of his company to his vice-president and used his fortune to rebuild the Opera Populaire with his half-brother, Jacob. His modest beginnings is one of his best-kept secrets, something which shames him. Because of this and his anger at his mother's remarrying, his relationship with his family, with the exception of Celestine, whom he loves almost as a daughter, is somewhat strained.

Role Play Sample: Andrew leaned over the balcony of Box 5, looking down on the stage with pride shining in his eyes as he watched the latest production of The Barber of Seville. The entire house was packed and the amount of money they had spent on the production had nearly made Andrew weep, but after seeing the total profits, his anxiety had been allayed. Gods, he was so glad he had listened to Jacob; selling arms had been a successful enough business, but the amount of money opera-goers would pay for just one seat was amazing to him.
