Character Basics
Full Name: Henri Leblanc
Nickname(s): ----
Birthday: June 7th
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Desired Position: Baritone Singer
Character Information
Appearance: Henri is good looking and knows he is. From his days working as a stagehand he's muscular and has a height advantage over most men being just above average. He has neatly trimmed brown hair, and, unless yelled at to change it, keeps his face a little scruffy out of bad habit from his days behind the scenes rather than on it. Henri doesn't mind too much how he looks as the woman tend to fawn over his eyes no matter what he does. He has blue eyes that are extremely light, almost grey, that they like for some odd reason. It could be that, his muscular build, or his smile that keep the women coming back, but for some odd reason they always do. Henri also dresses well above his station when he's able as looking your best never hurts, though he does tend to dress it down when out with friends or just wandering the house aimlessly.
Personality: Like most people who rise from the depths of society and gain success, Henri has an ego that most people can't stand. He does have money now, more than he had at least, and he lets most people below him know that one way or another. He doesn't like being turned down or rejected and really likes competition, especially when he wins. When Henri looses anything he tends to get a bit sore about it and occasionally lets his temper run away with him. When this happens Henri tends to cause a few injuries thanks to his experience in his younger days as a stagehand and has a habit of breaking girl's hearts as well. He fancies himself quiet the romantic and has a new girl every week without regard to how the other feels after he leaves. He tends to have teh same feelings toward his friends; teasing them without a stop until they break. With his friends, however, he does this with the dearest regaurd and will be loyal to a fault when push comes to shove.
History: Rags to riches is Henri's story. He started off as a street rat, stealing to keep his younger sister out of trouble and fed since their father abandoned them shortly after their mother caught a fever a died. His exploits caused him one day to sneak into the Opera Populaire. Henri was struck in his youth by the size and the magnitude of the productions. He was caught in his musing by Madame Giry, who almost demanded the police take care of him. He pleaded with her not to and, after hearing his story, the woman kindly complied. It did not, however, keep him from coming back with his sister so that she too could see the splendours of the Populaire as well. They were both in love.
Against their father's wishes, they went to the Populaire most everyday. Henri got a job working as a younger stagehand in the wings and then up high in the heavens of the theater. All that time, Henri's younger sister, Victoire, joined the courps de ballet as a trainee and Henri worked to support them as their father didn't make much as his job as a dustman. In his time as a stagehand, Henri dreamed of working on the stage rather than off of it. He worked with some of the older chorus members on his time off, singing in the flies whenever he had a chance and was alone. He worked on his voice more than he worked on his job sometimes and was often repremanded for it. It was all worth it however when Henri made the chorus at the age of twenty.
After joining the chorus, Henri found he enjoyed himself much more on the stage than above it. He started enjoying the company of his fellow performers and succeeding both on and off the stage. He rose in the ranks until he was a perferred performer of the barritone type, and was known throughout the opera house for his charm and talent. Henri through these means was able to better his family's monetary situation while keeping an eye on his younger sister, ensuring her safety in the ballet by threatening anyone who bothered her.
Right now, Henri is content with his place in life. He gets good parts, gets to have fun without much consequence, and is able to take care of his sister and his father. Nothing is able to shake him, and he wants to keep it that way.

The magic word: Inside my mind
Role Play Sample: Days until the quidditch match and for the life of him Frank could not keep his mind on anything but the fact that Alice was going to be there watching him. He had never seen her at games before, and the fact that she pretty much clearly stated that she would be cheering him on was a good sign. One that he could look on as support for his deepest hope. Nothing with girls was ever clear enough for him. Blood confusing creatures. Frank for one wished there was a handbook he could read on them just like any of the other creatures in the wizarding world. Certaintly would make life easier. It would work too. Girls were magical in a way, at least Alice was. The way she made him want to jump up and scream to the hold world that he thought she was the most beautiful, talented, brillant witch in the school, the way he wanted to kiss her whenever she blushed, the way he couldn't help but stare into her eyes and look down at her lips. Just thinking about her gave him the same warm feelings coursing through his body. There were still nerves and she wasn't even there.
'Bloody hell Frank, get a grip on yourself or you'll end up a bumbling git like Potter.'
He sighed as he walked down from the tower to pick up his broom, flying always cleared his head right? It had never failed before. Frank pulled his broom out from under his bed and seeing the field full took off and flew to the outskirts of the school near the lake. It was, after all, some of the best scenery in the whole school and it wouldn't be too crowded above the grounds, just on them. Frank layed back on the broom, a trick he had prefected over his three years on the team and let out a heavy sigh allowing himself to shift slightly this way and that to move the broom. It was a great day, and even the tenticals of the giant squid didn't phase him. The water looked like it would be nice...
Frank allowed the broom, him laying on it to move lazily a foot or so above the water and he ran his hand through it lazily before taking off for the shores again, his thoughts still not clear of Alice.
