Name: Lucien Louis Faure
Nicknames: N/A
Age: 4 years old
Appearance: Lucien looks a lot like his father, Louis and his mother, Annabelle. He has his father’s dark brown hair and his eyes, while he has his mother’s straight hair and pale skin. Lucien often dresses in just a shirt and trousers, occasionally a small black coat for cold weather, but he always looks decent in public. His face is youthful and vibrant which charms adults, but it covers his dark and disturbed mind.
Personality: Lucien is unlike most young children, with an unhappy disposition and angry at the world. Ever since his parents’ untimely deaths, he has become quiet, distant from others and not wanting anyone’s charity or help. He is often alone because of this and doesn’t make many friends which causes his attitude to strengthen and makes him even colder. He enjoys terrorizing his uncle Armand by running around the city, causing trouble and benefiting from people’s misery, ultimately making him a con man. Lucien also has great focus and won’t turn his attention away from anything until it’s done. He will reach success with this and he feeds off the attention, good or bad, gained from it.
History: Born as the son of Louis and Annabelle Faure, Lucien was a relatively happy child without a care in the world. At a young age he showed a love for music and building things, spending hours with blocks trying to build houses and such along with listening to his mother play the piano. His favorite thing though was hearing his mother and father sing him to sleep, which made him safe and comforted when he was upset.
Shortly after he turned two, his mother left him with a sitter while she went to the opera, promising that she’d tell him all about it. Lucien was happy because he knew his father worked very hard for the ticket to give to Annabelle and couldn’t wait until he was old enough to go with his parents to the Opera. Unfortunately, his mother, in the audience, and his father, who was an usher at the Opera Populaire, were killed in the infamous chandelier crash and left him orphaned. According to his parents’ will, he was sent to live with his Uncle Armand who was also at the Opera Populaire the night of the crash. After his arrival, Lucien became very different than he was before. He became a trouble maker and loved terrorizing his uncle among other people. He leaves his uncle’s house after he leaves for work as an inspector and walks around Paris to con people out of money and other valuables. Lucien is basically a disturbed child who is often angry with the world and his uncle. As far as Lucien knows, he will never change his ways.
