Richard Firmin stood in the central aisle of the Opera House. It looked just as good as new. "Sold for 10,000 francs, when Andre and I bought it for almost 400,000 francs." Richard muttered to himself. The gas lights fluttered low as his memories shifted. Opera Ghost he spat the name with fear and loathing. The demonic presence that terrorized him during his tenure as manager, he knew was still at large since the mob reported nothing of him. Miss Daae had run with the Vicomte, and a lavish marriage ceremony had been held.
Firmin, sadly, had lost most of his wealth in the fire. However, Swiss bank accounts are very useful. He had reclaimed a power in the Scrap Metal business. He was sorrowfully standing in his former palace of the arts. Well, if he could, he would change that.
