Sitting on one of the crates stacked against the wall and a small mound of facbris on her lap Charlotte worked dilligently. The hem of a dress was close to her pale face as her hands quickly moved along the edge. Her lips were pressed together and a tinge of a smile pulled at the corner of her mouth. Practice outfits were always needing her attention. Though it wasn't typically her responsibility Charlotte was willing to help whenever she had a moment. Besides it was quick work. With a final flick of her wrist the thread snapped of where she tied it.

Cain was walking around with nothing better to do. He was done doing his normal ballet routine for the day, so he was free the rest of the day. Most times he spent it walking around the opera house, which is what he was doing now. During is walk he came across a girl who was busy sewing. He stopped a bit away form her to just watch her for a bit. He liked sewing and often liked to watch others do so. "Your sewing skills are very good." he said making himself known to her, hoping he would not startle her.

There were certain things about dancing one could not help if they tried. Celeste always tried to be prepared for them. She carried extra ribbons incase the ones on her pointe shoes tore or ripped, she took great care to prepare her bag full of extra stockings and things in case younger girls forgot theirs. She tried to be at least a bit helpful due to the simple fact that she knew they would all pay if Madame Giry caught one of them unprepared. It was true that technically the courps de ballet was full of competition and that one fault in her peers would boost herself above them, but something were just not worth the wrath of Madame Giry.
On that note, it was very rare that Celeste herself was the one who was ill prepared. She had never been at fault before but today she had managed to commit one of those slight wrongs. She had been practicing floor combintations and the ribbon on her pointe shoe snapped. She had been lucky not to twist or break her ankle. Thank gooddness for small wonders. Still, she had gotten a stern talking to when practice was over for not having sewing materials with her. Of course, though she had not said a word, Celeste knew she was not at fault here considering how many times she had lent such things out to the other girls and had never gotten them back. See if they got any help from her now.
What was done with was done with however and Celeste just had to try to clean up the mess she had made by finding a needle. With a deep frustrated sigh, she made her way over to the costumers area backstage to beg a needle and found one of the other dancers there as well. She did not see anything happen to him during practice so of course she didn't have the slightest idea what he was doing there but she had to get her things done none the less. "Pardon, I don't mean to interrupt you two but I am in sore need of a needle and thread if I may have some."
