Someday she would sit here. She didn't care how, and she didn't care what she had to do, but Celeste knew that someday she would be sitting and watching a ballet from this box rather than be performing in one. She didn't mind performing in the ballets of course. She loved her art more than anything on this earth. She craved the movement, she dedicated hours of her life to improving her skills and perfectly marrying dance with music until they were inseprable entities. That was her job, her talent, her gift and her pleasure and she wouldn't give it up for the world. But still, she had to make provisions if she were to ever get hurt, or too old and worn to dance. She was not going to stay here her whole life like her mother or Madame Giry, no. She was going to own one of these boxes someday by one means or another.
Stranger things had happened in the past. It was well known that rich men that came to the opera house often took a consort from among the singers or dancers and Celeste knew she was pretty enough for that. Madame Daae had made her fortune through marriage. That was rare but not unheard of. With the right cards and the right smiles a girl here could change her stars. Celeste knew she had the wit, the talent and certaintly the beauty to ensnare one poor fool or another, but for now, she would just have to bide her time. For now, she would wait, and dream, and plan her plans until she oculd sit in one of these boxes respectably and without the consequence she could possibly recieve now.

Aiden walked down the long hallway where all the entranced for the boxes where. He was on his way out for the day but he had to put his violin away for the evening. He of cores put it away with the rest of the interments. Normally he would have taken the other hallway that performers and orchestra members used during performances but today he wanted to take the long way out. He was in no rush after all.
Walking past one of the boxes he saw movement behind one of the curtains. Wondering who or what it could he went to look. "My I help you miss?" he asked thinking she was an opera goer. Most ballet girls didn't hang out in the boxes. They where normally some where backstage or in there dorms.

Contemplations could be dangerous at times. They made you loose track of your surrowndings and that was something Celeste didn't do often. She was usually more aware of her surrowndings than most girls as she knew that was the best way to slip her way into the door of opportunity when it cracked open enough for her to sneak through its portal. Being the box was especially distracting to her normal awareness. She was dreaming too much. It was a strange state to be caught in as she didn't do it often. She planned more than she dreamed, but today, here, she was day dreaming. It was a peace she normally did not have and it was a peace not to be kept as a voice startled her back to her normal state of mind.
Very quickly, Celeste rose gracefully from her seat and lifted her chin with an air of authority and pride that very rarely left her. She knew it fitted her so it didn't make sense to her to leave it behind. She forced a small smile, as disappointed as she was to be disturbed and shook her head with a small negative gesture. "No thank you Monsieur, I am quite content. I do thank you for the offer however."

He gave her a quick nod and polite bow. Then he gave her face a better look over. "For give my rudeness but I do believe I have seen you before." he said wondering where he had. Tough with the pose and grace she seemed to posses it was unlikely he would have known a lady of her standards, for he was blind to the fact that she did in fact work right next to him. Tough while they both worked it he never really talked to the ballet girls as he found them to gossip and below him.

Shame. He couldn't just bugger off. No, he had to actually recognize her from somewhere. As much as she would love to just play with his mind and tell him that she was in fact a lady who just frequented the opera. Perhaps he had seen her at a Gala or on the higher fashion streets of Paris in a popular cafe. She would love to tell him that, however, she knew that in this opera house you had to play nice with the males of the ballet. After all, they supported you, and they had to enjoy dancing with you. So, it was then with a deep sigh that Celeste shook her head and smiled coyly. "You better. I dance next to you everyday Aiden..."
