Nadine has auburn hair with a few strands of blonde and brown. Her hair is thick and straight, but she has alway envied the girls with the long, curly locks. She stands at 5 feet 3 inches tall and has a medium/normal body type. She has small green eyes and very long eye-lashes.
Personality: Nadine is very independent and she has no desire for romance. She has a big temper, but won't snap at anyone unless she thinks they deserve it. She is not afraid to take up for herself. Most of the time, Nadine is a very nice person to be around.
She hates to be looked down upon. Just because the horn is usually played by men doesn't mean she is less talented. Far from it, as a matter of fact. Despite the fact that she is an excellent horn player, she has always longed to be on the stage instead of in the pit. She has always liked to be the center of attention. She took ballet lessons as a child, but was never as talented as the other girls her age were. One reason she is so good at the horn is because of her talent for singing. She sings almost everywhere she goes, and because of this most of the orchestra members find her very strange.
History: Nadine grew up in a fairly well off family. She was by no means spoiled, but she did get to have the privlege of taking ballet and voice lessons. Her father taught her to play the horn at the age of nine, and after his death she felt she must continue it for him. That is one reason she is playing in the orchestra instead of pursuing her dream of being a singer.
Nadine does enjoy playing the horn because she is good at it. People have always said that she is a better horn player than singer, but she finds it easier to express herself while singing. Nadine is excited about the idea of playing for an opera's orchestra. That way, she can still be a part of what she is deeply passionate about.
Coming across good horn players is rare, so it wasn't hard to get a job at the theatre. This is Nadine's first year here, and she did not expect it to be as hard for her knowing she won't be singing for the audience. Nadine tells herself to be grateful for what she has, she knows her tendancy to be overly dramatic about small things.

Nadine sighed as she put the music on her stand for rehearsal. Today the conductor wanted to work with just the orchestra. He didn't say how long the rehearsal would last, but she guessed it would be about two hours. She would be looking up at clock on the wall every five minutes. Nadine twirled the pen in her hand that she would need for rehearsal anxiously, ready to get the long rehearsal over with. She softly hummed her favorite aria, but stopped for fear of a rude remark from another member of the orchestra. She was so glad she was the only horn player. She did get thrill when she played her feature section, and she did not want to share that with anyone.
