Nickname(s): Sophie
Birthday: September 8
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Desired Position: Chorus Girl (dancer)
Character Information
Personality:
Sophie is shy at first and usually comes off as antisocial. She tries to stay away from crowds and is very protective of herself. She generally doesn't let much out or many in, but she listens. She is a follower, not a leader and is more observant than outgoing.
Sophie is kind and gentle. Her grace has been a gift since childhood but is also well-earned. She knows how to be independant and defensive when needed. She occasionally has the small anger strike, but is more so calm than not.
Sophie is often hard headed stubborn and arrogant. Most people don't bother her and she's okay with it. The thing she does best is being invisible.
History:
Sophie had been left at the orphan house when her mother passed away during childbirth. As she grew older and more curious about her father, she learned that he had left long before her mother even knew about a Sophie. She has learned to defend herself while acting independantly while she shared the orphanage with many others.
She began her training at the age of six at a nearby Academy. She was enrolled by her Foster Mother who viewed her natural grace and delicacy as a gift. Sophie joined the Opera Populaire at the age of thirteen. It wasn't until she was a little bit older and better trained that she was actually allowed to perform as a part of the company.

Role Play Sample:
Sophie slipped into the small inn where she was currently working for room and board and five bucks an hour. She had felt the offer was too generous when it had first been presented to her, but had no other options. With a small wave to the shop's owner she headed to the back to stash her things before she got to work. Sophie tied the black apron that almost matched her currently dark eyes around her neck and waist and walked out of the small, cramped room. She grabbed a small bucket and sponge and she filled the bucket with cleaner.
Sophie carried her cleaning supplies into the restaurant at the end of the hall that was attatched to the inn. The restaurant was known mostly for pizzas and was a good hideout for kids who didn't have anywhere else to go in the small town. She attacked the first table she saw, so to speak. As she was scrubbing down, she realized not many people were there. She suspected that it would change very soon as it got later. It was a Friday night and as far as she could tell many people get out in the late evenings on Fridays.
Sophie finished the table she was on and moved onto a bigger four-top one. The bitter stench of the cleaner burned her nose.
Sophie finished with the tables and chair and since there was still time, she mopped down the floor as well. All of the cleaning didn't take her long, as usual. She liked to get things done as fast as she could but she knew she had to be careful when she was exposed to humans. She headed back to the back to switch out her mess cleaning apron with a new clean one and headed to the front. She stuck a pen into her apron and grabbed a pad to take orders with. She waited by the back counter with the cooks until she had more customers to serve. She ignored the hopeful looks they gave her and tried to be friendly.
