Character Basics
Full Name: Faustine Heaton. Nickname: Cosette! Birthday: June 17th. Age: Nineteen. Gender: Female. Desired Position: Composer, song writer.
Character Information
Appearance: Cosette doesn't look like a French woman at all. She has a healthy, tanned complexion and cat-like blue eyes that make her look peculiar. She has a square-shaped face and dirty, wavy blonde hair that seems to get a little darker the longer she stays out of the sun. Her body doesn't lack those womanly curves, yet she doesn't have the perfect hourglass shape. Cosette could wear anything if she wished, even run outside naked if needed. Luckily, that day has not come yet.
Personality: Naturally bold and open-minded, Cosette is like a wild horse. She's creative and forces herself to think harder every day to get inspiration for songs. She is intelligent and learns quickly, though is sometimes the victim of simple misunderstandings. Her view of love is a strange one; she believes she will live like the Virgin Mary the rest of her life, loving everyone yet no one.
History: The most troubling aspect of Cosette is where she came from. She speaks the language of her homeland, one that not many have ever heard of. The exception of that would be her adoptive parents, Mr. and Mrs. Heaton. The elderly middle-class couple loved to travel to different couples, one which happened to keep Cosette (age fifteen) in poverty and near death.
So for no reason other than to have a child, they adopted and named her Faustine after bringing her back to France. A rather wild decision, but lucky none the less. However, as she grew more educated with school and religion she decided to change her name to Cosette. Although she couldn't speak completely, once she reached eighteen Cosette decided it was time to stop living on her parents and settle down.
And somehow, it led to her getting a job at the Opera Populaire. Cosette vaguely remembers how she lived before being adopted by the Heatons, and hopes to one day return to where she was born to see her siblings and - hopefully - find her real parents.

Other
Custom Title: Strange Songstress The magic word: Inside my mind. Role Play Sample:
"Mum, dad. Thank you much for taking care of me three year," she said warmly with a distinct, smooth accent. Cosette could still recall her original language fairly easily, still repeating words every night so she wouldn't forget. French was easy to remember too, though she couldn't say the same with English. "I love you. I love you both lot."
"We're always here if you need us," Basile reminded the young woman. She was so eager, practically bouncing off the walls to start off on her own. It was almost saddening to see they weren't needed anymore, though Cosette obviously didn't see it that way. She just wanted to get out of their hair.
"you're both so kind. Thank you." Cosette kissed each of her parents on the forehead before leaving. As soon as she shut the door behind her, she reached into her bag to pull out a leather journal. Electricity went from her toes straight up to her head; that sad yet decisive moment was good inspiration. Might as well start now, anyway.
((I made a haiku once consisting entirely of 'cat'. That's how musically inept I am. I, actually, cannot compose a decent song. Argo, that would mean Cosette cannot compose a decent song, meaning I use lyrics belonging to someone else. Should I use lyrics by a certain band or artist, it is © them and it does not belong to me at all in any way.
I will give credit in that post if I do, and carefully look at the lyrics I would like to use to make sure it fits the time period. Please PM me if this is offending or inappropriate, and I'll try to write my own tunes. xD In fact, I'm probably going to write my own songs. This is just insurance should I change my mind.))
