About your Character
Name: Juliette Croft
Nickname: none yet
Age: 18
Country: England
Position: Chorus Girl
Job: (Applies to servants)
Voice Type: Low Soprano
Eye Color: Green
Hair Color: Blonde
Height: 5'6''
General Appearance:
Juliette is what her mother likes to refer to as a natural beauty: soft,
silky blonde hair that is no longer than just below her shoulders, fair
skin, and the elegant body of a dancer. She may look lean, but she is
also a bit muscular. Her hair is somewhat straight, with a bit of curl
to it. She used to hate the curl, when she was little, but now she has
grown to like it.
Her eyes are a nice shade of green, paired with thick lashes...and her
mother used to say that Juliette could see through a person, right to
the soul. She may be shorter than her brother, but she isn't too short
either... standing at a good height of 5'7''. She does have a scar on her
arm from when she accidentally cut herself with a kitchen knife...and
there are a few on her back from getting burned.

Dislikes:
-Taste of alcohol
-Smell of cigars
-Being alone
-Gossip/Rumors
Personality:
Juliette may seem shy and quiet, but once you get past her shell, she is
really a caring, sweet, and artistic person. She is a bookworm, she likes
to read whenever she gets the chance. She can both sing and dance...her
mother's "little songbird". But since Juliette has come here just to
dance, that is what she'll do... her singing ability falling by the wayside.
She likes to draw as well, you can find drawings scattered all around in
her room. She doesn't have many friends, but she's a loyal friend to the
ones she does have. And she is also protective of her friends, so if you
mess with any of them...you mess with her. She can be a bit stubborn,
when she sets her mind to something...there is really no point in trying
to change her mind.
Something Unique About Your Character:
She taught herself to sing, dance, and draw...following the examples of
her parents, but it was her father that taught her to play the piano and
her mother that taught her how to cook. Even though they have a cook
handy...on occasion, Juliette's mother likes to cook for her family.
Family:
Henry Croft - father
Sarah Croft - mother
William Croft - brother
Relatives:
Regina Ashford - aunt
Laurent Ashford - uncle
Background:
Juliette Croft was born on May 23rd, to Henry and Sarah Croft. Her
older brother William was only 3 years old, when she was born. Even
though they sometimes pick on each other and pull a few pranks, the
two of them are still close. They lived in the English countryside, in a
beautiful home and everything seemed to be going great for the Crofts.
Well, until Juliette turned 14.
Her father is a successful businessman and one day...he somehow fell
off his horse and broke his leg, on his way home. But that didn't even
stop him from continuing his business. He then hired one of his good
friends's son, to help him out. His name was Daniel. He was indeed a
fine lad, and the day he set his eyes on Juliette...he fell hard and fast.
So, he began courting her and her mother was so certain that he would
make her an offer. He was only two years older than her. Everything
seemed to be normal, and then, things started to go missing.
Everyone was confused, until her father had a feeling that the culprit...
might be Daniel. At first, Juliette immediately jumped up and denied it
being possible...but then it made sense. So, she decided to ask him..and
he said it wasn't him. She might've believed it, if it wasn't for the tone..
in his voice. Then, the next day, Juliette caught him in the act. He tried
to deny it, but she refused to listen. She then gave him an ultimatium...
that he turn himself in and return everything he took or she will. Daniel
didn't say another word, just disappeared out the window. Everything
was soon returned, and she hasn't seen him since.
Two years later passed, and still no sight of Daniel. Juliette just forgot
about him and moved on with her life. One day, she was dancing out in
the garden, when her mother saw her and was amazed at her daughter's
grace and ability. She then thought that Juliette should go and dance in
Paris, where she used to dance. When she told her of her idea, she was
excited and agreed. And then, that night, there was a knock at Juliette's
window. It was Daniel, asking her to come elope with him. She refused
his offer and he got a bit angry at the rejection. He disappeared into the
night, vowing to come back and force her love.
A few days passed by and there was no sight of him. Then, it was late
in the afternoon...and Juliette went into the stable. She liked to stay in
there sometimes, with the horses. She soon fell asleep. Then, the smell
of smoke woke her up. The stable was on fire! Juliette acted fast, with
sheer determination. Two of the horses were in there, her father's...and
hers. So, she rescued her father's first and then went back to save hers.
And about halfway out, Juliette's skirt got caught on something. It was
a race against time, so with a nice slap, her horse took off...and out the
stable doors. And as she tried to get it uncaught, a burning piece of the
ceiling fell and hit Juliette's back. She cried out, in pain.
Then, she saw a figure outside the stable...watching as she struggled to
get free. But before she could call out, it was gone. And then, when all
felt lost, William made it through the flames and saved her...before the
stable collapsed on both of them. She was so grateful, for him being her
angel. Then, after a few months of recovery, Juliette was ready for her
trip to Paris...to live with her aunt and uncle.

Sample Post
It was late at night and everyone else was asleep. Except for Juliette. A
single candle burned in her room, shedding some light on her. She sat by
her window...with her candle on the nightstand. The moon was nice and
full, hanging high in the night sky. The stars began to twinkle..and wink
at her from above the city. She wondered if it was the same sky that her
family is seeing...if it was the same moon hanging over them.
She missed them terribly. A tear fell from her eye...she watched it, as it
hit the windowsill. She heaved a soft sigh, before she started to sing:
'If only you could be here, beside me...
I have missed you so, and I wish for you
to come and take me away...
Away from this place, it's so unfamilar...
this place that keeps me away from you..'
Her voice was carried away by the night air, drifting away from her and
down the street. She sings only to herself now... a talent kept hidden in
the back of her mind and away from everyone else. Juliette isn't here to
sing, but to dance. She took one, last look at the street below her...like a
ghost town, there was not a single soul in sight. She slowly turned from
the window, crossing over to her bed. She pulls back the covers...with a
bit of a flourish, then crawled underneath them. They felt a bit cold, but
no matter. She whispered a little prayer, then blew out the candle.
And as Juliette laid there in the darkness, trying to fall asleep, her mind
began to drift off to thoughts of what everyone is scared to talk about...
the Phantom of the Opera. No one likes to think about the evening that
affected one and all, when the Opera house was set on fire. A couple of
people say it was the Viscount, while some say the former owner did it.
No one knows for sure, but Juliette has a feeling that it wasn't either of
them...but the Phantom himself. But now the question is..Is he alive..
or dead?, she mused to herself, as she drifted off to sleep.
