No, it wasn't something she did often. But when the brunette did visit the cemetary, she felt herself sink deeper. The graves were barren aside from snow and the occasional flower. Yet what Eilian did notice was a new guest did check in to the eternal hotel. The grave was spotless, the name unknown to the masses. The only way to tell it was a new person was the date carved into the stone. Pity bloomed rapidly.
It may have been better if the woman carefully disguised in men's apparel didn't know the fresh corpse below the dirt, but sadly she did. They weren't friends by any means. A few words and names were exchanged. Sometimes they greeted each other. That was the only way Eilian knew it was the girl she met, her name. The girl was as poor, if not worse off than she was. So young, too...
Sitting beside the grave, she swiftly took off her jacket and put it onto the grave as an offering. Not often feeling much sympathy or guilt, this was an exception that made her calm face change. Luckily no one was around for the time-being. "This is all I have... I'm sorry. I didn't even know..."
"You were better than them, that's why..." Aquamarine eyes searched for what to say next. "I can tell. You're not another one that just left. You're different..."
But you ended up dying anyway, were lost words.
