(Copying and pasting what I posted on my site rather than retyping scenario.)
I know I said one night, lol, in the message about being at my uncle's, but my body decided it wanted to have other plans. Woke up Saturday with pain in my lower right abdomen, thought I was constipated. Nothing worked. The pain increased, so we headed home and by 8 p.m. I was admitted to the ER. Tests were done, and the surgeon was pretty sure I had appendicitis but not so sure that he would insist on the appendectomy. So, he told me I had three options: get a CAT scan, get an ultrasound (won't show if only mild case of appendicitis), or have the surgery and they'll look around if it's not the appendix. I chose the CAT scan. What do they find? No appendicitis, but there is an ovarian cyst 11x10 cm, so big that they can't tell which ovary it's in until they go in. Just got released a bit over an hour ago, and I wanted to pop in and say, I had surgery and am sore as heck, walking around like an old lady, and lacking much concentration. I'll try to post as I can, but I'm not sure how long i can stand sitting up to do so.
So, you know who to go to for questions if I'm not around.
